50 Miler Canoe Marathon 2014, KwaZulu Natal, Durban

Keep up to date with all the information and activities of “50 Miler Canoe Marathon 2014” event held in KwaZulu Natal, Durban (6-7 December 2014).

It’s a two day event which will start from Saturday 6 Dec.2014. In this event, there will be a great opportunity for Paddlers to experience the thrill of the rapids, weirs and obstacles along a route.

For the honor of people who are fighting against cancer & in memory of those people who have passed on, Umzinyathi Canoe Club is collaborating with Lettie Paddle (www.lettiepaddle.co.za), which is an organisation that raise funds to help peoples who are suffering from cancer.

Entry Fees for Event :

– For Senior R495.00
– For Junior R300.00
– Late Entry for Senior – R495.00 + penalty fee (R150.00) = R645.00
– Late Entry for Junior – R300.00 + penalty fee (R150.00) = R450.00

Entry Methods : You will have two methods to enter.

1. For Online Entries : You can enter online by visiting http://www.canoesa.co.za
2. Email Entries : Visit http://www.50miler.co.za/emailentry.html & fill in the form.

Closing Date for Entries : Normal entries will be closed on Friday 28 November 2014 at 16h00.
Registration : Registration will take place at Keg and Trout, Hillcrest on Friday 5 December from 5pm-7pm

NB: Payment proof must accompany all fax and email entries.

Race Rules for Paddlers :

A wristband will be issued to all Paddlers. It will be compulsory to wear this band during the event. In case of absence of band, paddlers will be disqualified. get more details here : http://www.myriver.co.za
